Which cryptocurrencies can be bought/sold/stored?

Can cryptocurrency be transferred to other wallets via Bitpapa?
Bitpapa supports the withdrawal of cryptocurrencies BTC, ETH, USDT (ERC20), Monero (XMR), The Open Network (TON) to any external cryptocurrency wallet. Read more about fund withdrawals in our instructions.
How to send cryptocurrency? How to withdraw?
To send funds from your Bitpapa wallet to another, go to the "Wallet" section, click the "Send" button, fill in the Address and Amount fields, select the preferred network fee option, and confirm the transfer.
How to top up the balance?
To top up the wallet, go to the cryptocurrency balance and select the "Receive" function. A wallet address will be generated in the opened window, to which you need to send the funds.
How to top up the balance with fiat? (rubles/hryvnias/dollars/euros)
Our platform does not provide fiat (rubles/hryvnias/dollars/euros) accounts. Bitpapa only offers wallets for cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH ERC-20), Tether (USDT ERC-20), Monero (XMR), The Open Network (TON).
How to obtain fiat?
To exchange cryptocurrency and receive fiat to your preferred details, you need to sell it. To do this, go to the Market/Sell section and select a suitable offer from buyers.
Where to find the wallet address?
Go to the cryptocurrency balance and select the "Receive" function. Your wallet address will be generated in the opened window.
A new address was generated / Can cryptocurrency be sent to old Bitpapa wallet addresses?
All generated addresses in the Bitpapa system are permanently assigned to the account. You can use them at any time, even if a new address has been generated.
BTC crediting
Our system credits transactions to the balance after two network confirmations. Once the confirmations are received, the transaction amount will automatically be credited to your account balance.
ETH / USDT crediting
Crediting to the account balance occurs automatically after 25 network confirmations. Once the confirmations are received, the transaction amount will automatically be credited to your account balance.
Bitcoin transaction takes a long time to receive network confirmations
Unfortunately, transactions sent with minimal or low network fees sometimes take a long time to receive confirmations due to network congestion. To avoid this in the future, we recommend sending transactions with a network fee higher than the minimum. Our platform allows this directly during the cryptocurrency sending form submission.
How long to wait for Bitcoin network confirmation?
We cannot predict how long it will take for a transaction to receive network confirmations, as this occurs on the cryptocurrency network and is independent of our platform. The exact time cannot be forecasted, as the speed of receiving Bitcoin network confirmations depends on mempool congestion and the network fee you specified when sending the cryptocurrency. Typically, waiting for the first confirmation takes 30-60 minutes, but it may take more or less time. We recommend setting a network fee higher than the minimum if you need to send or receive coins quickly.
Sending to an incorrect address
Our system does not allow entering invalid addresses. If the cryptocurrency has already been sent to the network, the address was valid. Unfortunately, transfers to incorrect addresses cannot be recovered.
How to cancel a transaction after sending it to the network?
Once a transaction has been sent to the network, it cannot be canceled. All transactions on the network are irreversible.
Change the network fee after sending to the network
Unfortunately, once a transaction has been sent to the network, it is not possible to change the network fee.
What is a transaction hash?
A transaction hash (txid) is an identifier used to uniquely identify a specific blockchain transaction.
Where to find the transaction hash?
In the wallet, go to the "History" section, find the required transaction, and click on it. The transaction details will open, where the necessary information is indicated.
How to track a transaction hash?
After the cryptocurrency is sent to the network, you can find the hash (txid) in your account's transaction history. To track the transfer status, click on the hash, and a tab with a block explorer will open, displaying the current transaction information.
Transaction in progress
Transactions sent with the minimum network fee enter the mempool within 5-15 minutes. Once the transaction is sent to the network, a hash (txid) will appear in the transaction details. In rare cases (during sharp spikes in mempool load), the transaction's release to the network may be slightly delayed. This is done to accumulate more withdrawals, which are sent in a single transaction with a high network fee for quick confirmation. To ensure transactions are sent to the network promptly, specify a network fee higher than the minimum when sending.
What type of storage is used?
Bitpapa uses a cold storage method - users' coins are first moved to hot storage, mixed, and then transferred to cold storage, which is impossible to hack as it is completely isolated from the Internet.
Can cryptocurrency be tracked in Bitpapa wallets?

Why does the fiat amount in the wallet change?
The fiat amount in the wallet may change depending on the market exchange rate of cryptocurrencies. The number of coins remains unchanged without account transactions.
Fees on Bitpapa
Bitpapa does not charge traders fees for:
- topping up the balance;
- sending cryptocurrency to the system's internal wallet;
- storing cryptocurrency;
- receiving cryptocurrency directly from mining pools;
- buying cryptocurrency through other traders' offers;
- selling cryptocurrency through other traders' offers. Traders are charged a fee for buying and selling cryptocurrency through their own offers and for withdrawing to external addresses. Learn more about fees here.
Network and processing fees
The network fee size depends on the network load level at the time of sending the transaction. You can find the current network fee sizes here.
How to start trading?
You can place your own offer for sale/purchase or buy/sell cryptocurrency through other traders' offers by selecting the appropriate section in the Market - "Buy" or "Sell".
How quickly can I buy or sell BTC, ETH, Tether on Bitpapa?
The time for buying and selling cryptocurrencies within the Bitpapa platform depends on the maximum deal time set by the seller or buyer. Typically, traders with high ratings and many positive reviews aim to close deals as quickly as possible. The average response time in a deal can be seen in users' profiles.

There are 2 options for selling cryptocurrency on Bitpapa:
1. Create your own offer to sell cryptocurrency, specifying your deal terms;
2. Choose an existing offer in the Market.

All deals occur using an Escrow account, meaning that when a deal is opened, the seller's cryptocurrency will be locked until both parties are satisfied. Therefore, to sell, the cryptocurrency must be in the internal wallet of the Bitpapa system.
How to buy cryptocurrency?
There are 2 options for buying cryptocurrency on Bitpapa:
1. Create your own offer to buy cryptocurrency;
2. Choose an existing offer in the Market.
Select suitable values in the filters, and offers sorted by the best rate for you will be displayed. After opening a deal, the deal chat will become available - the seller will send payment details in the chat. Make the transfer of the deal amount to the provided details and immediately click the "Payment made" button. Once the seller confirms receipt of your transfer, the cryptocurrency will be credited to your balance.
Minimum balance for buying through your own offers
For purchase offers to appear in search results, your balance must have a minimum amount - 0.0003 BTC (to activate Bitcoin offers), 0.005 ETH (to activate Ethereum offers), or 100 USDT (to activate Tether offers). This requirement is introduced to minimize the number of offers from users not set up for trading.
Minimum balance for selling through your own offers
For sale offers to appear in search results, your balance must exceed the minimum deal limits you have set.
How do deals work?
Deals on Bitpapa proceed as follows:
1. A deal is opened between the cryptocurrency seller and the buyer.
2. The buyer receives payment details, makes the payment, and clicks the "Payment made" button.
3. The seller sees the "Release cryptocurrency" button and, after verifying the payment, releases the coins.
4. The cryptocurrency is credited to the buyer's balance.
What guarantees that I won't be scammed in a deal?
All deals occur using an Escrow account, meaning that when a deal is opened, the seller's cryptocurrency will be locked until both parties are satisfied. In case of disputes, an arbitrator is involved.
When will the payment for the deal be received?
The deal specifies the time within which the payment must be made. After the buyer makes the payment to the seller's provided details, they must mark the deal as paid. When the seller sees the funds in their balance, they must click "Release cryptocurrency". In case of disputes, an arbitrator is involved.
Payment details
Payment details are provided exclusively through the deal chat. Usually, sellers pin the details in the first message of the deal chat, but if you don't see them, write to the seller that you are ready to pay, and they will send them to you.
Canceling a deal after payment
The cryptocurrency is locked in escrow, and fiat transfers are made directly between the buyer and seller. To return funds, you need to negotiate with the seller or open a dispute.
To open a dispute, in the open deal, click on "Need help?" and describe the situation in detail. Our moderators will review your request, make a decision, and inform you via the provided contacts.
Where is cryptocurrency credited after purchase?
Every user in the Bitpapa system has a free cryptocurrency wallet, to which cryptocurrency is credited after completing a purchase deal.
Is there a bot for trading directly from Telegram?
The official Bitpapa bot is @Bitpapa_bot.
Why doesn't the rate in the offer change?
The rate updates every 5 minutes; please wait for the update. If the rate does not change after this time, please let us know.
Minimum balance for creating an offer
No balance is required to create an offer; you can create offers at any time, but offers are displayed in the Market only if the necessary amount is available in your account balance.
For purchase offers to appear in Market search results, your balance must have an activation amount - 0.0003 BTC (to activate Bitcoin offers), 0.05 ETH (to activate Ethereum offers), or 100 USDT (to activate Tether offers).
For sale offers to appear in search results, your balance must be at least the minimum deal limit you set.
Average market rate
The rate updates every 5 minutes. We do not broadcast rates from third-party platforms; our system collects information on current crypto and fiat currency rates from major global sources and forms an average market rate.
Saving payment details in your own offer
In the settings of a sale offer, you can save payment details that will be automatically provided to buyers immediately after opening a deal. We strongly recommend keeping the details up to date and deactivating offers with automatic detail issuance during your inactivity on the platform.
Can cryptocurrency be used as a payment method?
When creating an offer, you can choose from over 100 payment methods: cryptocurrencies, payment systems, cash, bank transfers, and others.
How to change the profile picture (Avatar)?
Go to the Account section, click on the avatar image, and upload a suitable picture. After uploading, the avatar will update in your profile within 5 minutes.
How to link an account to Telegram?
Go to Account -> Settings, in the "Telegram Notifications" section, select "Enable".
After navigating to the bot, to complete the process, send the bot the /start command.
How to find out my login on the platform?
Upon registration, our system automatically generates logins consisting of adjectives and nouns from an English dictionary.
Before opening the first trade, you can change the system-assigned login to any available one at any time.

To find your login in the web version: On the dashboard page, above the cryptocurrency balance, a greeting text is displayed, which includes your login. To find your login in the mobile app: In the Account section, the first word at the top is your login.
Transferring trading statistics from other platforms
1. Your Bitpapa account must have the "Verified" status.
2. In the terms of any of your listings on a third-party platform, include the code BPP54T6331.
3. Send us the following in a single message via any convenient method (support@bitpapa.com, Telegram bot @Bitpapa_bot, or chat on Bitpapa.com):

1. A link to the listing with the code;
2. Your Bitpapa login;
3. The BTC wallet address from your Bitpapa account.

The code in the listing terms can be removed immediately after our confirmation.

Please note - only the following metrics can be transferred:

Number of trades
BTC trading volume
Number of trading partners
Number of positive/neutral/negative reviews

Statistics can only be transferred to a verified account.

Statistics can only be transferred in full; transferring only the number of positive reviews while having negative ones is not possible.
How to link an email?
Currently, it is not possible to link an email to an account registered via Telegram. However, you can register a new account using an email and password, transfer the balance to the new account, and link your Telegram to the new account.
After linking Telegram to the new account, the old account will be automatically deleted.
With an account linked to an email and Telegram, you can log in using either email+password or Telegram.
How to change the login?
Changing the login is available to every user before entering their first trade.
You can change the login in the dashboard - to do this, select the system-assigned login, delete it, and enter a new one. Changes are saved automatically.
If your account already has previously opened trades and you want to change the login - contact support; we can only do this after reviewing your trade history.
How to register in the app via Telegram?
In the app, on the login screen, tap the Telegram icon. Then, in the opened Telegram, send the /start (Start) command to our bot @Bitpapa_bot. In response, the bot will send a one-time login link to your account.
How to create a referral link to invite friends?
In the "Earn Bitcoins" section in your personal account on the website and in the app, you can copy your unique referral link and use it to invite friends. The reward is paid based on the service fee paid by the listing creator.
Why was I blocked in the Bitpapa support chat?
A user may be blocked in the support chat due to inappropriate behavior or the use of offensive language towards support staff or the service.
How to delete an account?
If your account is registered using an email, you must send a deletion request from that email to support@bitpapa.com. If you logged into the account via Telegram, you need to send a deletion request to support: https://t.me/Bitpapa_bot?start=support.
My account was accessed from an unfamiliar IP
Immediately contact the support team via any convenient method and report the incident.
Enable two-factor authentication and change the account login password.
Invalid 2FA code
If you see an "Invalid code" error when entering the correct code, ensure that the device generating the code and the device used to log into the account have the correct time and date set.
Lost 2FA access
We can disable two-factor authentication in your account if you provide correct answers to the questions. Contact support via any convenient method using the contact you use to log into the account.
Is verification required?
Identity verification on Bitpapa is not mandatory, and lack of verification does not impose restrictions/limits on your account. However, a profile with the "Verified" mark inspires more trust among other users and allows account recovery in case of loss. We recommend verification for all active users.
